MDaemon is an e-mail server that supports most common Internet mail protocols offered by Alt-N Technologies. It's an SMTP/POP3 server for Windows (95/98/NT).
The Web server is used as a remote administration tool. Version 3.1.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability. If a remote user requests a specially crafted URL to the Web services within MDaemon, then the service will crash.
漏洞危害
As a result of this vulnerability being exploited, the service will stop functioning. You must manually restart the service in order to regain normal functionality.
解决方案
This issue has been resolved in MDaemon 3.1.12. Upgrade to the latest version of MDaemon.
